Left-wing comedian Rosie O’Donnell is going after President Donald Trump, and this might be the lowest she has ever stooped.
O’Donnell took to Twitter on Thursday and declared that Trump is “the leading cause of death in the United States.”
In her tweet, which included the hashtags “#AmericaOrTrump,” “#stopTRUMP,” and “#StopTrumpsGestapo,” O’Donnell included an image with the words, “Donald J. Trump is now the leading cause of death in the United States”.
O’Donnell did not offer any context to her tweet, but she is likely referring to the coronavirus pandemic, which has resulted in just shy of 150,000 Americans losing their lives from the virus that originated in China.
O’Donnell is literally saying whatever she can for attention, but this isn’t the first time she has made disgusting comments about the president.
Earlier this year, O’Donnell claimed Trump will lose the November election in a “landslide.”
“I think November we’re going to be a landslide and take him out, that’s what I have to believe,” the 58-year-old O’Donnell said.
“I firmly believe that the heart of the nation is bigger than his mental illness and people will rise to the occasion and vote him out. That’s what I hope,” she added.
O’Donnell has feuded with Trump since 2006, beginning with her criticism of the then media and real estate mogul on the talk show “The View” for his press conference and statements to defend Miss USA Tara Conner despite reports of behavior that appeared to violate pageant rules.
Trump, who owned the Miss USA Pageant, responded by claiming that “The View” creator Barbara Walters regretted hiring O’Donnell.
O’Donnell claimed last year that Trump is not “legitimate,” has a serious “mental disorder,” should be impeached from office, and that his campaign-style rallies are filled with “paid attendees.
“I think the best thing we can do is encourage people to vote. Come November. We will save democracy or lose it. You see these people at these rallies, most paid to be there, screaming he’s right and letting the racist deep dark corners of their soul flourish. It’s so against everything American. It really is. I hope we can flip this and save democracy. If we can’t, I have to believe fascism will take over in America. That will be the death of democracy, this 200 something-year-old experiment,” she said.
