If Democrats and their fearless leader, Joe Biden, thought that the MAGA agenda would fade away with Trump out of office, they better start to recalibrate.
This weekend, Rep. Devin Nunes (R-CA) had a small gathering of the powers that be in the Republican Party.
Right at the top of the agenda was pushing forward with MAGA.
The Freedom Festival
On Saturday, Nunes, a top Trump supporter throughout his presidency, held the first Nunes Freedom Festival.
Kash Patel, who aided Nunes in debunking the Russian collusion narrative and exposing the many Rep. Schiff (D-CA) lies as well as a former Trump staffer, was among those making the MAGA agenda front and center.
Patel stated, “America deserves a national security strategy that’s better than ‘what did the last guy do. I’m going to do the opposite,’ which seems to be the Joe Biden approach and that fails in Iran, Russia, China, Middle East.
“Fails in counterterrorism, fails in counterintelligence.”
Harmeet Dhillon, an attorney and national committee member for the Republican National Committee, added, “We are gathering with other patriots and we are getting ready to take on the Democrats in the next election cycle.”
She also stressed that Joe Biden had managed to drive “this country into the ground faster” than anyone had thought possible.
She also took a swipe at who is actually calling the shots in D.C. right now, echoing sentiments of Trump, stating, “Our country is effectively being run by Nancy Pelosi.
“It isn’t even, as I feared Kamala Harris, I think she’s really just floating around the scenery. But it’s the far left socialist.”
Big tech censorship was also among the topics discusses, yet another major Trump talking point.
While Trump did not appear in person, there was a video feed of the former president, encouraging everyone to fight for the MAGA agenda.
As I stated the other day, MAGA is bigger than one person, even Trump, and it will continue on whether Democrats want it to or not.
Trump started the new direction of the party, but now it is up to We the People to continue that fight.
And, from the sounds of Nunes’ little gathering over the weekend, we are well on our way.
