There is no shortage of headlines about the shocking behavior of adults involved in children’s sports leagues.
It’s as if these supposedly responsible adults lose all sense of reality and discipline when it comes to kids playing a sport.
And you won’t believe what the President of a children’s soccer league just did to the parents of a player.
Another day, another fight over masks.
The news is flooded with stories about fights over masks.
Now it looks like the debate is infiltrating the world of children’s sports.
Recently the President of a Seattle-area children’s soccer league harassed the parents of one of the players because they refused to put masks on outside.
The parents were sitting outside watching their kid’s soccer game, and this league head lost his mind over their lack of masks.
According to news outlets in the Seattle area, President Chip Goss of the West Seattle Soccer Club stopped a family from entering the park where the soccer game was being held and told them only one parent per child even though it was abundantly clear that there were many families there with both parents.
Eventually, Goss agreed to let the family enter the park, but he told them he had to watch the games from a nearby baseball diamond away from the games and other spectators.
At first, the family appeased Goss but eventually realized many other large families were present at the park, many of whom were not wearing masks, so they decided to move closer.
Apparently, Goss spotted the family and decided to confront them.
Goss went as far as to call the cops on the family.
During the exchange with the family, Goss admitted that the party-size rules he was trying to enforce were totally arbitrary and not followed by other families. At this point, Goss shifted the focus of his rant and turned it into a rant about the family’s failure to wear masks.
King County Park is currently in phase 3 of the state’s reopening plan, which clearly states that masks are not mandated outdoors.
That didn’t matter to the self-appointed “emperor” of the soccer league.
Goss approached the family at the end of the game, informing them that he had removed their children from the league and permanently banned them from any future participation.
The Left has absolutely warped the minds of many Americans and given undeserving power to people like Goss.
Goss is doing nothing more than trying to wield power over people he doesn’t control.
There is no doubt that this type of outrageous behavior will continue if Americans don’t start to stand up to these unconstitutional mandates and regulations.
