Are we in the midst of a national race riot?
Despite many over the years claiming to bring peace amongst the races, we are in fact worse off then we've ever been in that regard.
Daily, the inflammatory media brings to our attention every instance of white-on-black crime, yet turns a blind eye to black-on-black crime, and to black-on-white crime.
I remember my grandfather telling us how the Detroit River rose several feet due to the number of casualties during the 1940s Detroit race riot. Of course that is an exaggeration, but it gives a first-hand account of how awful it was. And my father, a former Detroit city police officer, was in the thick of it during the Detroit race riots in the late 60s. The National Guard had to be called in at one point.
And now we have another incident that threatens even more rioting:
What do you think? Are we headed towards a full-blown race war?
Where are we failing at living in harmony with each other? After all, we are all Americans, and any aggression should be towards our enemies, not our fellow countrymen.
