Trump vs McConnell
Donald Trump just fired back with a statement that has Mitch McConnell worried about losing his job
The Democrats, the Fake News Media, and the entire radical Left are determined to do whatever it takes to destroy Donald Trump.
But it’s not just the left attacking Trump. Mitch McConnell and the GOP elites are also trying to purge Donald Trump from the Republican Party.
But Donald Trump just fired back with a statement that has Mitch McConnell worried about losing his job.
With Donald Trump out of the White House and also banned from virtually every social media platform in the world, Mitch McConnell and the RINOs were hoping to smear and attack Donald Trump without having to face any blowback.
McConnell even published an op-ed in the Wall Street Journal where he not only pledged to purge Donald Trump from the Republican Party, but he also asked Joe Biden to bring criminal charges against Trump for inciting the riot that occurred on January 6.
But even though he’s banned from social media, Donald Trump refuses to sit back and allow McConnell and the GOP elites run roughshod over him.
In fact, Donald Trump released a statement ripping Mitch McConnell for his failed “leadership.”
“The Republican Party can never again be respected or strong with political ‘leaders’ like Sen. Mitch McConnell at its helm. McConnell’s dedication to business as usual, status quo policies, together with his lack of political insight, wisdom, skill, and personality, has rapidly driven him from Majority Leader to Minority Leader, and it will only get worse,” Trump wrote in his statement.
But Trump wasn’t done with McConnell yet.
“The Democrats and Chuck Schumer play McConnell like a fiddle — they’ve never had it so good — and they want to keep it that way! We know our America First agenda is a winner, not McConnell’s Beltway First agenda or Biden’s America Last,” Trump said about McConnell.
But what Trump said next is why Mitch McConnell should be worried about losing his job as Republican Leader, stating that “where necessary and appropriate, I will back primary rivals who espouse Making America Great Again and our policy of America First.”
The latest polls show that 81% of Republicans hold a favorable opinion of Donald Trump compared to just 34% for Mitch McConnell, making McConnell vulnerable to a Trump-supporting challenger.
Instead of trying to “purge” Trump from the GOP, most Republicans are wondering why McConnell isn’t spending his time opposing Joe Biden’s agenda and working with Trump to ensure a GOP majority in 2022.
