Pundit likens lucrative pursuits by adult children of Biden, Harris to political payoffs
Throughout U.S. history and on both sides of the political aisle, allegations have abounded regarding potential bribes and kickbacks among the nation’s leaders.
Nevertheless, Breitbart writer John Nolte is sounding the alarms over evidence that those seeking to buy influence in today’s partisan class are increasingly focused on the children of elected officials — in particular, President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris.

In a piece published on Monday, he looked at a case involving Harris’ stepdaughter, Ella Emhof. According to Forbes, the 21-year-old was recently handed a “massive modeling contract.”
As Nolte noted: “Prior to the inauguration of her stepmother, Emhoff was a 21-year-old student at Parsons School of Design studying fine arts with a focus on textiles.”
Now, she is looking forward to a potential windfall based on her representation by IMG Models, a high-profile agency responsible for the meteoric rise of some of the fashion industry’s biggest names.
For his part, Nolte sees more to the development than the agency’s eye for undiscovered modeling talent.
“Check out her Instagram account,” he mockingly reported. “Oh, yes, this account definitely has high-powered fashion model written all over it, complete with armpit hair and a cow tattoo.”

The writer went onto argue that it could not be “purely a coincidence” that Emhoff received the contract just after her parents became the nation’s second couple, going on to pose a “thought experiment” to his readers.
“How do you seek favor or pay off or bribe the sitting vice president?” Nolte wrote. “Well, I guess you could toss her stepdaughter a whole bunch of money she didn’t earn by way of a lucrative modeling gig.”
The Biden family is also included in Nolte’s reporting, specifically in connection to the artistic pursuits of his son, Hunter. The New York Postdetermined that the younger Biden’s agent, George Berges, has “strong ties to China.”
