Should Autistic Children Be Electrocuted In Their Sleep For Pissing Themselves?

Image
For general weirdness, this story really beats all. I should also add an advisory that if you're getting ready for bed, read this tomorrow if you want to sleep. Just when you thought civilization had reached a point where at least the big brutalities were gone, along comes something like this that really brings home just how fragile the presumption of civility is in our world, and how easily it can just vanish. Morally speaking, it seems pretty obvious--but on the other hand, what happens when you take that away? For example, Melarsoprol is a medicine that poisons and kills the patient 10 percent of the time, and yet it's often prescribed, simply because the condition it can cure is more fatal. What a shocking conundrum it may be that if you're dealing with a kid who, based on his history, will surely and grotesquely savage himself or others in some way, which is more tortuous?--and therefore, which is the lesser evil? I leave it to you to judge, and I have no idea what the...

School Principal Privately Admits What 'Anti-racist' Curriculum Is Doing to White Kids

Image
By Leah Barkoukis The head of an elite private school in New York City privately admitted to a teacher that the institution is “demonizing white people for being born." The call between math teacher Paul Rossi, who was later relieved of his duties after publicly criticizing the school’s anti-racist orthodoxy, and George Davidson, head of Grace Church School, took place on March 2. The two discussed wokeness at the school and how it’s affecting white students. "Let me ask you something, George, because I think there's something very different about having a single experience where you make sense of it, right, and having a teacher, an authority figure, talk to you endlessly, every year, telling you, that because you have whiteness you are associated with evils, all these different evils," Rossi says to him. “These are moral evils, it's not the same as taking like a physical thing, because it doesn't affect your moral value....

Maxine Waters in trouble

Image
A Judge Put Maxine Waters on Notice in This High-Profile Criminal Case Maxine Waters just created a giant scandal for the Democrat Party. But Waters’ troubles are extending beyond the realm of politics and into a courtroom. Now a judge put Maxine Waters on notice in this high-profile criminal case. Maxine Waters  caused an uproar when she traveled across state lines to Minnesota to urge Black Lives Matter to take to the streets and confront police if a jury acquitted Officer Derek Chauvin on charges he murdered George Floyd last May. “I hope we get a verdict that says guilty, guilty, guilty,” Waters ranted to the press. “And if we don’t, we cannot go away. We’ve got to stay on the street. We get more active, we’ve got to get more confrontational. We’ve got to make sure that they know that we mean business.” Black Lives Matter rioters already staged six days of violence and rioting in Brooklyn Center, Minnesota and other cities across the country. Nancy Pelosi  said Wate...

DARK RESURRECTION CHAPTER SEVEN: JULIAN OF TIBERNUM

  Chapter Seven: Julian of Tibernum

Are we in the midst of a national race riot?

Image
Despite many over the years claiming to bring peace amongst the races, we are in fact worse off then we've ever been in that regard. Daily, the inflammatory media brings to our attention every instance of white-on-black crime, yet turns a blind eye to black-on-black crime, and to black-on-white crime. I remember my grandfather telling us how the Detroit River rose several feet due to the number of casualties during the 1940s Detroit race riot.  Of course that is an exaggeration, but it gives a first-hand account of how awful it was.  And my father, a former Detroit city police officer, was in the thick of it during the Detroit race riots in the late 60s.  The National Guard had to be called in at one point. And now we have another incident that threatens even more rioting: https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/columbus-ohio-shooting-police-officer-shot-and-killed-a-black-teenage-girl-holding-a-knife-police-say-and-bodycam-video-shows/ar-BB1fVUv8?ocid=uxbndlbing What do you th...

Social Media Addiction: It's Not Your Fault

Image
Social media addiction is a real thing in my life.   Admittedly, I spend way too much time online.  Disqus has taken on a life of its own, with having my own blog, moderating on 5,  and just general commenting.   I look back at my pre-Disqus days and think of all of the ways that I better spent my time.  And not that social media has been an altogether pleasant experience.  I have had to deal with disgusting, relentless trolls, and I have lost a Disqus friendship or two.   But overall it is enjoyable and a way to express myself in writing, and I like to think that I bring something to people on my blog, and simply by communicating with others. Can I quit today?  Sure, but I will suffer with withdrawal, as with any other addiction.  Why?  The neurochemical Dopamine, the pleasure hormone .  Let's take a look: Although not as intense as hit of cocaine, positive social stimuli will similarly  result in a release of dopamine,...

RACISM AND RACISTS: WHAT IS GOOD FOR THE GOOSE IS GOOD FOR THE GANDER

Image
Greetings. The time has arrived to examine a pair of contrived terms whose definitions have constantly evolved to a point of being nebulous, or even meaningless. They are  shopworn canards employed by the far left and useful idiots to intimidate an opponent, which are usually European Caucasoids who are unwary of Marxist and Alinskyite tactics. Those words are "racist", and "racism". Here are the latest definitions of these words: RACIST RACISM In some circles, even preferring to associate with those appearing similar to oneself is now considered "racist", but generally only when the individual is of European Caucasoid heritage. It is hardly ever employed if one is of Mongoloid or Asian heritage, and very rarely used when the target is of Negroid or mulatto heritage. Most readers are aware that I am an atheist existentialist who looks at humanity as a collection of mostly hairless taking apes, who are ruled by their emotions and dogmatic thinking. Humans a...

SC handed down ruling on

The Supreme Court just handed down a ruling that could spell the end of Big Tech censorship in America April 9, 2021   The entire Radical Left is waging an all-out war on conservative speech in America, with Big Tech censoring anyone who speaks out against the Democrats’ socialist agenda. But that may not be the case for much longer. Because the Supreme Court just handed down a ruling that could spell the end of Big Tech censorship in America. Furthermore, Justice Thomas opined that Section 230, which grants Big Tech immunity from lawsuits, may also violate the First Amendment. Of course, this is what conservatives have been arguing for the past two years about Big Tech censorship. The response from the Left about any concerns over Big Tech censorship of conservatives has always been that it’s the right of the private sector to conduct business however it sees fit. But the issue is that these social media companies are marketing their platforms as unbiased and blind to political op...

The White House  says  the commission is bipartisan. Debate over the Supreme Court intensified last year, when liberal Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg died, allowing President Trump to replace her with Justice Amy Coney Barrett, who is thought to be considerably more cons...
