QUESTION: IS THE UNITED STATES HEADED TOWARD CIVIL WAR?

Oh well, here goes, if this political article is successful, I will post others of a similar nature.

That said, I'm very busy right now and haven't much time to tend to this blog - it would be different if I could make a living from this. Donations via Paypal are welcomed, so I figure I'll take a crack at earning them with this screed. Therefore, I have taken the time to create an article that will address a very important question of our time:

Is the United States headed toward civil war?

I, for one, think so, and I also think such an event is long overdue. I will make my commentary as short as possible for the ease of reading. This particular post should be comment driven, rather than a platform for my personal diatribes. In that vein, I will shotgun various points in the following paragraphs that the reader/commenter may then expound upon if so desired.

ITEMS FOR DISCUSSION:

The roots of the coming conflict go back to at least the 1960s, when the Federal government started usurping ever more authority and power from the States and the American people, passing unconstitutional social engineering legislation, for example, "civil rights laws", which are in direct opposition to the First Amendment of the Constitution. Those laws have now morphed into every malcontent imaginable demanding that their "rights" be recognized, even if it is simply the right to be thoroughly obnoxious. Further examples are the Gun Control Act of 1968, the Federalization of Education, the "War on Drugs" and other meddling in the affairs of the people and their businesses, such as telling car manufacturers how to build automobiles, telling a homeowner whom he or she can sell their house to, and so forth. There are many other actions and events that have helped to divide this nation into factions; the reader is welcome to add to the list in their comments below.

All that noted, I think the decline of this nation goes back even further, to the early twentieth century, specifically the election of Woodrow Wilson. The Congress under Taft laid the foundation for many of the problems that exist today. The introduction of the Federal Reserve Bank and the direct election of Senators were two items that initiated the decline of this nation, which was then further exacerbated by every president that followed him, especially FDR, Truman, LBJ, GHW Bush, Clinton, Bush II, and Obama.

I conclude the situation is growing untenable - the news reflects that, with conflict in the streets, political polarization at a level never seen in modern times, and bizarre, trivial items like "trangenderism" and the like being brought to the forefront simply to add to the insane conflict that is overwhelming this nation. The president of this country, Donald Trump, cannot properly function and execute his duties due to blatant and unfounded hatred that I have never seen directed toward any president in my lifetime. Even worse - presidential candidates are now blatantly boasting that they will take the people's firearms from them, employing the police or troops, door to door. Those remarks are clearly contradictory to the Second Amendment of the Constitution of the United States of America, which makes such presidential contenders TRAITORS to the Constitution and the people of the United States.

Further, we have imported people into this nation that utterly despise anything to do with our Constitutional Republic and seek to turn OUR nation into theirs, like the invaders that they are.

All of these problems to do not bide well for the future of this nation.

Readers of whatever political persuasion are welcome to comment; the rules for commenting on this article are:
