Rampant crime has turned this tourist destination into a hell hole
There is no hiding it, crime is out of control in this country.
Places that used to be tourist attractions for all ages are now warzones – whether it be Hollywood Boulevard or Times Square.
But a recent shooting at this major attraction has locals and tourists alike shocked and afraid at what’s become of this city.
At one point, the Mall of America in Bloomington, Minnesota was the largest in the nation and among the largest in the world.
But due to the boom in online shopping, the COVID-19 panic and rising crime rates, residents no longer frequent this mall like they once did.
In fact, just the other day, a violent shootout occurred at the Mall of America while families were out shopping with their children.
The incident occured when two unnamed young males opened fire at each other in broad daylight on the third floor of the mall.
To make matters worse, it was New Years Eve when this shootout occurred, meaning the mall was pretty crowded.
As a result of the shooting, two people were shot, but fortunately both people survived their injuries.
This shootout is a perfect example of the sort of crime you can expect in the once peaceful suburbs of major cities such as Bloomington.
Of course, Bloomington is right outside of Minneapolis, which recently defunded their police department following the riots of 2020.
As a direct result, crime has gone through the roof, as demonstrated by this shooting.
Leftists are quick to claim that this is gun violence, but anyone with any common sense can tell you that these criminals would have gotten their hands on guns regardless of how strict the laws are.
Going forward, if left-wing cities like Minneapolis do not shape up quickly, then their precious tax dollars will continue to dry up, effectively defunding their cities.
