The Democrat Governor of New York is no stranger to political and personal scandals constantly revolving around him.
It was only a matter of time before an investigation came up with something substantial.
And now an investigation bombshell just exposed Andrew Cuomo’s deepest darkest secrets.
Earlier this year, nearly a dozen of allegations from different women were hurled against Andrew Cuomo accusing him of sexual misconduct and abuse.
The public outcry from both sides of the political spectrum forced the hand of Cuomo’s comrade, Democrat New York Attorney General Letita James to investigate these claims against Cuomo.
Letita James just finished her investigation and it’s not good for Cuomo and his cronies.
The investigation has reportedly concluded that eleven different women have all been sexually harassed by Cuomo.
Nine of the eleven women were even current or former state employees and subordinate to Governor Cuomo.
“This is a sad day for New York because independent investigators have concluded that Gov. Cuomo sexually harassed multiple women and, in doing so, broke the law,” New York Attorney General Letita James noted.
“None of them welcomed it and all of them found it uncomfortable,” James added.
Now, even Democrats in both New York and Congress are calling for him to resign from office.
New York Senate Majority Leader Andrea Stewart-Cousins (D), said he “can no longer serve as Governor” and that he ought to resign for the “good of the state.”
New York City’s Mayor, Bill de Blasio, who isn’t exactly a ray of sunshine himself, has even called on Cuomo to step down, declaring “he must resign” and that he may need to be impeached.
And in a joint statement, U.S. Senators Kirsten Gillibrand and Chuck Schumer, both Senators of New York, said “No elected official is above the law . . . We continue to believe that the Governor should resign.”
Cuomo is in an awfully poor position.
All of his political allies are calling on him to resign and he has no more runway to eat up to get away from his scandals.
They are all catching up to him.
The sad part of this all is that it displays the obvious double standard that exists in the Democrats’ favor.
When Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanugh was hit with the most outrageous and incredible allegations about something that supposedly happened decades ago while he was in high school and college, Democrats from all across the country were demanding Trump withdraw his nomination and even throw Kavanaugh in prison.
And that was solely based on decades-old unfounded claims from unhinged women.
Governor Cuomo, on the other hand, has been slapped with entirely credible allegations of sexual misconduct and political misconduct and he’s still in the Governor’s office.
There may be criminal charges coming against Cuomo for the sexual misconduct, but the fact that he might come out of all this “alive” politically is simply sad.
