Guatemala greets Kamala with’Trump Won’ signs

Kamala Harris Greeted By Guatemala Protesters During Trip Holding "Trump Won" Signs

As Vice President Kamala Harris landed in Guatemala for her first foreign trip, she was greeted by pro-Trump Guatemalan protesters holding massive banners that read “Kamala, TRUMP WON,” and “KAMALA, Go Home!” You’d think if it’s a ‘false claim’ that Trump won then the Dems wouldn’t fight so hard to prevent audits. You’d think they’d be happy to prove they are supposedly ‘right.’ Harris is spending the beginning of the week examining the root causes of migration in Guatemala and Mexico.

Other posters read, “Guatemala is pro-life #momalahelpme” and “Kamala Stop Funding Criminals #FueraDeGuatemala.” The country’s president Alejandro Giammattei has even told CBS that he and VP Harris are not on the same page regarding migration issues and that he blamed the Biden Administration for luring his citizens to the border. Numbers soared at the border to a 21-year monthly high of more than 178,000 illegal immigrants in April.

“We asked the United States government to send more of a clear message to prevent more people from leaving. The message changed too: ‘We’re going to reunite families, we’re going to reunite children. The very next day, the coyotes were here organizing groups of children to take them to the United States,” Giammattei said.

While former President Donald Trump used migration issues as a major theme of his four-year term, President Biden has done everything to reverse Trump-era policies, including his “Remain in Mexico” policy which requires asylum seekers from Central America to remain in Mexico while the US courts review their case. Biden also ended the construction of Trump’s US-Mexico border wall and has urged Congress to grant citizenship to millions of illegal immigrants.

VP Harris’s trip to Guatemala was one of many in the government’s response to the massive surge of migration to the southern border, emphasizing that they must address “root causes” rather than just tighten up border security.

VP Harris has talked about the corruption in Central American governments, which she said is among the many root causes of migration to the United States. She also warned illegal immigrants that if they come to the border, then “you will be turned back.” While claiming that the United States will continue to enforce laws and secure the border, the Biden Administration has released over 60,000 migrants into the US without court dates.

VP Harris said she addressed the root causes of migration with Giammattei and that they will continue to address the ‘root causes’ of migration, including the lack of economic opportunity for many people. “I want to emphasize that the goal of our work is to help Guatemalans find hope at home,” she said.

The individuals holding pro-Trump posters were from the organization Society In Action. They stated that they were not against Harris’s trip but rather her “interference and blackmail in return for aid.” They accused Washington D.C of supporting “corrupt” officials in the Central American Nation and said they are against the Biden Administration’s agenda of imposing the LGBTQ, pro-abortion ideology. “In Guatemala, we’re pro-life,” one member of the group shared.

Florida Sen. Rick Scott even tore into VP Harris for her continued failure to address the border crisis, adding that Harris has refused to see what their administration’s policies have caused firsthand.

“Flying over the border at 35,000 feet doesn’t count as a visit. Now, 123 days since taking office, it’s shocking to see the lengths to which President Biden and Vice President Harris will go to avoid seeing the border crisis for themselves,” Scott said.

The world knows that Trump won and the election was stolen, but liberal elitists are too determined in destroying anyone who crosses their way and keeping the agenda.
