Hillary can’t Sleep
Hillary Clinton Can’t Sleep at Night as an Investigation Grows Close to The debunked dossier was used as justification to spy on the Trump campaign during the 2016 campaign by the FBI.
Hillary Clinton’s failed attempt to destroy Donald Trump has backfired.
Now it’s just a huge potential legal liability.
Hillary Clinton can’t sleep at night as an investigation grows ever closer to her.
Back in 2017 the Washington Post reported that Hillary Clinton’s campaign and the Democratic National Committee helped fund the Steele dossier.
The claim at the time was that Donald Trump was colluding with the Russian government in order to win the presidency.
The FBI lied to the FISA court in order to get the warrants to wiretap the phones of the members of the Trump campaign.
Now Special Counsel John Durham is investigating the origins of the investigations against Trump.
Now he’s issued subpoenas to Perkins Coie, a law firm tied to the Steele dossier, the Democratic National Committee and Hillary Clinton’s 2016 presidential campaign.
“The Russia Hoax, other than the 2020 Presidential Election, was the biggest scam ever perpetrated on the American people. Hopefully justice will finally be served,” Liz Harrington, a spokeswoman for former President Trump, told the Daily Caller News Foundation.
Michael Sussmann was indicted on a single charge for lying to the FBI that he was not acting on behalf of any client in conveying particular allegations concerning a presidential candidate when he was allegedly acting for the Clinton campaign in actuality.
Journalist Glenn Greenwald noted that this was also an”indictment of the Russiagate Wing” of the American media.
“The indictment reveals for the first time that the data used as the basis for this fraud was obtained by another one of Sussman’s concealed clients, an ‘unnamed tech executive’ who ‘exploited his access to non-public data at multiple internet companies to conduct opposition research concerning Trump,’” he continued. “There will, presumably, be more disclosures shortly about who this tech executive was, which internet companies had private data that he accessed, and how that was used to spin the web of this Alfa Bank fraud. But the picture that emerges is already very damning — particularly of the Russiagate sector of the corporate press.”
